Hi, hola, hello!
I’m Mija – I live in Southern California, am 57, female, and, almost always, a bottom into the CP/school uniform and discipline/punishment end of the spanking scene.
While I’m not new to the internet or spanking — I delurked on the Usenet group alt.sex.spanking in January 1997 and have been in a (complicated) relationship and marriage with another spanko since then — I’ve been away from the scene and disconnected from the kink for a while for reasons to complicated for this quick post.
Some of my earliest stories are up on Laura’s Spanking Corner. Many moons ago there were three story and blog sites that were either mine, or Paul and mine:

The Punishment Book – a group of friends writing about discipline and punishment administered by me.
Pablo and Mija’s Treehouse – a website built and maintained by Paul that houses our stories.
They’re currently all offline, though (hopefully) not for too much longer.

Writing about spanking fulfilled and released something inside me. It’s also the best (and only) way I’ve made friends and developed deep relationships, whether in or outside the scene. I’m pretty text-oriented, so despite trying, image-focused sites like Fetlife have never been as engaging for me.
In the non-cyber world, after being a grad student forever, I’m an academic who teaches literature and ethnic studies at a university in Southern California.

I’ve been a spanko since I was 5 years old when I did my first spanking play with the 5 year old girl next door. I’ve always been a switch. I discovered alt.sex.spanking on USENET in 1994 and met my wife Bonnie there in 1995. I live in Ontario, Canada and am a lawyer specializing in privacy and Internet law. I was a moderator on soc.sexuality.spanking until it’s demise on December 10, 2012.
